Just like that, 2023 is coming to an end and 2024 is just around the corner. There's a lineup of exciting and fun events happening in the first month of the new year that you don't want to miss. Here are 22 of the best events happening in Toronto this January that you should know about.
1. Hangar Skate
Hangar Skate weekends are back this month! From January 19th to March 17th, there will be free open skating on Saturdays and Sundays with free skating lessons and even an immersive light show on the ice in front of airplane Hangars. Skates are available for rental again this year at $5 for adults and free for children under 12 years old. Plus, DJ Skate Nights will be happening on select Fridays.

2. Winterlicious
2024 Winterlicious is making its return this month! The event starts on January 26th and runs until February 8th. Get the chance to experience different cuisines from around the world at over 200 local restaurants right in Toronto with their delicious three-course prix fixe lunch and dinner menus. With price points of $20 / $27 / $34 / $41 /$48 / $55 for lunches and $25 / $35 / $ 45 / $55 / $65 / $75 for dinners, there is something for everyone.

3. Madonna: The Celebration Tour
If you're a huge fan of Madonna, then you don't want to miss her Celebration Tour. Originally scheduled for August 13th and 14th of last year, get to sing and dance alongside her greatest hits.

4. WinterViews

6. DesignTo Festival

7. The Distillery Winter Village

This is your last chance to enjoy all the holiday magic at Casa Loma.
