Celebration Square in Mississauga is turning into a winter spectacle and you don’t want to miss it. Bringing the thrill of the mountains to the heart of the city, APIK, presented by Samsung Galaxy, is a high-adrenaline action sports event that is coming to Mississauga and Ontario for the very first time! Happening from February 7th to 9th, this FREE 3-day event, courtesy of Visit Mississauga and TRIBU, will feature epic snowboard and ski competitions by top athletes from around the world, where they will battle it out for a $100,000 prize, showcasing their best moves.

Over the weekend the public can witness amazing tricks, cheer on athletes, enjoy live DJ sets, food trucks, pop-up shops, and more! The festival will kick off on Friday evening with a snowskate demonstration with Ambition Snowskate from 5 pm to 10 pm that will leave you in awe, and if you're up for it, you can try it out yourself. 

Saturday will feature a thrilling ski competition with top athletes vying for a grand prize taking place from 12 pm to 10 pm, while Sunday showcases an epic snowboard contest happening from 12 pm to 8 pm. Plus, you can also win awesome swag from APIK and Visit Mississauga!

While you’re in Mississauga, make sure to check out the other exciting activities taking place. Enjoy some post-holiday shopping and/or comfort food by heading to Square One and The Food District or embark on the thrilling DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: The Immersive Quest, located right across the street from Square One.
