It’s almost time for the Canadian National Exhibition and that means lots of fun is coming your way! There will be so many crazy things going on, from dog shows to parades, so we’ve put together a list of the must-see events happening this year.

1. Opening Ceremonies
Kick on the CNE with their opening ceremonies on August 16th. The official ceremony takes place in front of the historic Princes’ Gates and will feature a colourful procession.

2. SuperDogs Hollywoof: A Night At The Pawscars
Calling all dog lovers! This is definitely an event that you’ll want to check out. Prepare to be dazzled by your favourite pups and cheer them on.
Where: Enercare Centre, Hall D (100 Princes' Blvd #1, Toronto, ON M6K 3C3)
When: August 16th to September 2nd, 2024
3. Canadian International Air Show
Celebrating its 75th Anniversary, the Canadian International Air Show will be jam-packed with an incredible aerial extravaganza!
Where: Lakeshore Boulevard
When: August 31st to September 2nd, 2024 (12 pm - 3:30 pm)
4. HorseCapades
Head over to HorseCapades for an interactive horse program. Designed for the young and the young at heart, HorseCapades will sweep you away from city life and into the magical world of the horse. There will also be two daily shows featuring trick riding (11:30 am and 1 pm).

5. ACTION! – Aerial & Acrobatic Ice-Skating Show
If you’re looking for a thrilling show featuring acrobatics, ice skating, and more, look no further! Experience the ultimate fusion of blockbuster movies, world-class ice skating, and mesmerizing circus acts in ACTION!
Where: Coca-Cola Coliseum (45 Manitoba Dr, Toronto, ON M6K 3C3)
When: August 16th to September 2nd, 2024 (2 pm and 5 pm)
6. Food Products Day
Head over to the Toronto Star Food Building for a chance to win prizes. You’ll be able to spin the wheel and play games!

When: August 21st, 2024 (11 am)
7. CNE Aquarama
Check out this water show and be amazing as world champion water-skiers and top Canadian athletes showcase their incredible skills at the waterfront!
Where: The Waterfront
When: August 16th to 18th, August 23rd to 25th (2:30 pm, 4:30 pm, 6:30 pm)
8. Cat Show
Come visit the purr-fect event for cat lovers. More than 100 cats from across Canada will be competing for the title of Best of the Best!
Where: Café Soleil (100 Princes' Blvd, Toronto, ON M6K 3C3)
When: August 24th to 25th, 2024 (10 am - 5 pm)
9. CNE Ghost Walks
Get ready for a spooky stroll through the CNE grounds. In this 60 minute tour, you’ll learn about their haunted history that spans more than 200 years.
Where: Starts at Princes' Gates (11 Princes' Blvd, Toronto, ON M6K 3C3)
When: August 19th to 23rd, August 26th to 30th (7:30 pm)
10. Labour Day Parade
Spend Labour Day with the CNE and their parade featuring 25,000 members of the Toronto & York Region Labour Council. This year’s theme, “Workers Shape Our Future,” celebrates the fight for justice and dignity for workers.
Where: Dufferin Gate Loop, Toronto, ON M6K 1A8
When: Enters CNE grounds at 11 am
11. Peppa Pig Dance Party
Grab your kids and head over to Kids’ World for a fun dance party with Peppa Pig herself. Her brother, George Pig, will also be there to join in on the fun!
Where: Kids’ World Stage (210 Princes' Blvd, Toronto, ON M6K 3C3)
When: August 16th to 24th, 2024 (12:30 pm and 5 pm)
12. Rising Star
For the 37th year, the Rising Star Talent Competition will showcase young singers, dancers, musicians and more! The competition features talented performers in a wide variety of genres competing for prize money in front of a live audience of CNE fairgoers.
Where: International Stage in Hall B, at the Enercare Centre (100 Princes' Blvd #1, Toronto, ON M6K 3C3)
When: August 16th to September 1st, 2024 (7 pm)
13. Down with Webster
Down with Webster will perform at the Bell CNE Bandshell at the end of August. They are a local band from The Beaches and have performed at the MMVA’s, Junos, and festivals across the country. They’ll also be celebrating the 15th anniversary of their breakthrough album, “Time To Win Vol. 1”.

14. Silent Disco
Check out this epic silent disco for an unforgettable evening of dancing and music. The silent disco will feature songs that range across genres, from Top 40 hits to Taylor Swift and Soca!

When: August 20th to 27th, 2024 (7 pm - 10 pm)
15. The Reklaws
The Reklaws are a Canadian country music sibling duo. They have countless awards and nominations, including 300M+ Global Streams. If you’re a fan of country music, you definitely won’t want to miss this.
