1. New Year's Skating Parties
Join the Mayor and Members of Toronto City Council in skating into the new year, featuring music, free hot chocolate, fun activities, and free skates (where possible).

2. 5th Annual Window Wonderland
Enjoy a magical urban art walk in the Junction! It will feature 20 spectacular augmented reality window installations and ten murals, designed by local and international artists.

3. Winter Skating at The Bentway
Enjoy ice skating under the Gardiner on a 220m outdoor figure eight skate trail. You can also enjoy a free hot chocolate every Monday evening and free skate rentals every Thursday evening.

4. DesignTO Festival
For 10 days, the DesignTO Festival celebrates design as a multidisciplinary form of creative thinking and making. The exhibits are all throughout downtown Toronto and many of them are free.

5. Skating at Nathan Phillips Square
Skate in front of City Hall and the iconic Toronto sign. This is one of Toronto’s most celebrated attractions and a quintessential experience. You can bring your own skates or rent them for $15.

6. Visit Allan Gardens
Check out this beautiful indoor garden right in downtown Toronto. This indoor botanical garden features five greenhouses including unusual cacti, tropical plants, a koi pond, and more.

7. TD Union Winter Roller Express
Head over to Union Station and test your roller skating skills at this pop-up. You can also check out their Union Beats Skate Nights and 19+ Winter Mixers. If you don't know how to skate, don't worry because they have free lessons on Tuesdays and Sundays.

8. ROM Third Tuesday Nights Free
Discover the wonders of the Royal Ontario Museum for free on the third Tuesday of every month. Gain access to most galleries and enjoy live performances from local community partners. Arrive early—tickets are first come, first served, and no pre-booking is available.
