1. Student Learning Centre
Commonly known as the SLC, this building is a go-to study destination for TMU students. With 8 floors, each with a different theme and atmosphere, you’ll definitely find the perfect spot.

2. Oakham Café
Oakham Café is located right within TMU campus and is a great spot to have a group study session. They also have great food at even better prices.

3. Page One
Page One is an indie cafe/bar only a few minutes away from TMU campus. They serve artisan coffees, teas, and yummy food.

4. Balzac’s
Right next to the Image Arts building, Balzac’s is always full of students. It’s definitely a popular spot to hang out at in between classes and they also have outdoor seating for when the weather is nice.

5. Black Bear Espresso
Black Bear Espresso is located across from the MAC so it’s the perfect place to check out after a workout or hockey game. It’s a quiet spot with finely brewed coffee and a rotating pastry selection.

6. Rogers Communication Centre (RCC)
The RCC is home to students that are part of The Creative School, but any TMU students are welcome to study here. There are three levels with tables on each floor and typically gets quieter the higher you go.

7. Daphne Cockwell Complex (DCC)
Not to be confused with the RCC, the DCC is another campus building that has multiple study spaces. There are spots all throughout the building so you don’t have to worry about it being too crowded.
