With two Academy Awards and four BAFTAs to her name, Cate Blanchett has cemented her place as an astonishing talent. She’ll be joining TIFF to discuss her expansive and illustrious career, as well as her role in two projects in Official Selection at this year’s Festival.

Angelina Jolie is being honored with the TIFF Tribute Award in Impact Media. This award recognizes leadership in creating a union between social impact and cinema.
7. Bruce Springsteen
Catch this American rock icon at TIFF this year. Springsteen narrates a new documentary that provides an evocative look at his band’s career.
8. Pharrell Williams
Dive into the LEGO world for the international premiere of Piece by Piece, a film that follows the life of singer and producer, Pharrell Williams. The entire story is told through LEGO pieces and features the voices of Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, and more.
9. Alicia Vikander
Alicia Vikander, known for her roles in Tomb Raider, Ex Machina and more, is coming to TIFF for the world premiere of her film, The Assessment. This dystopian film also stars Elizabeth Olsen.
10. Zoe Saldaña
The award-winning Zoe Saldaña is on her way to TIFF. She’ll be there to promote her new film, Emilia Pérez, as well as answer questions during an exclusive In Conversation With… event.
