I took a look in my backyard earlier today and saw that some of the leaves have already begun to change colour; not only that, but I got an email from my favourite bakery (shoutout to Bunner’s, you folks don’t miss) advertising pumpkin pies and more mouthwatering treats. That means the Fall harvest is underway, and with that, comes the opening of some of our favourite pumpkin patches! We’ve already touched on the best places to see the Fall colours, and our go-to spots to pick your own apples, so let’s keep diving into Autumn and take a look at the prettiest pumpkin patches that this city and it’s surrounding areas have to offer!

Albion Orchards

While Albion Orchards has received critical acclaim for their apple picking selection, their pumpkin patch is bountiful and features a gorgeous selection of white and bright orange pumpkins, ranging from monstrous gourds to the cute little pumpkins that you see above. With delicious pumpkin pies and other homemade goods available in their old fashioned country store, this pumpkin patch has everything you’ll need for a fun-filled Fall day!

Downey’s Farm

The famous pumpkin patch in front of the Downey’s Farm barn is filling up with a huge selection of bright orange gourds available for the picking. Their annual celebration PumpkinFest is kicking off this this Saturday, September 17th, and features tons of activities including wagon rides, live entertainment, and more! Dyment’s Glen Drummond Farm

A family owned and operated farm for over 135 years, Dyment’s Glen Drummond Farm is known for being a gorgeous backdrop for weddings in the summer, but features a gorgeous pumpkin patch when Fall rolls around! Connected to another large patch, the Pingle’s Farm Market, Knox’s Pumpkin Farm will be opening on Saturday, September 24th and have been minding their patch for four generations! Murphy’s Farm Market

While they offer mouthwatering pies, butter tarts, and other baked treats, Murphy’s Farm Market has a huge selection of small, medium, large, and specialty pumpkins in their patch!
