A pumpkin parade is when people bring their carved pumpkins and place lights inside for everyone to enjoy. If you have a carved creation, be sure to bring it so that you can show off your artistic skills. But if you don't have a pumpkin, don't worry! The pumpkin parades are free to attend and pumpkins are not necessary to join in on the fun.

This is also an easy way to dispose of your carved pumpkins. The City provides organic disposal bins to help with post-event clean up and they are then processed to create compost that can be used in City parks and gardens.
