In 2026, Toronto is a proud host city for the FIFA World Cup™, along with 15 other cities. It might still be years away, but you’ll want to book time off and buy your tickets as soon as possible. If you’re a soccer fan, you definitely won’t want to miss this!
The FIFA World Cup 26™ is ready to make history as the most inclusive FIFA World Cup ever, featuring a record 48 teams. This is also the first time ever that there will be a men’s FIFA World Cup™ match on Canadian soil. Toronto will host six matches, starting on June 12th, 2026. Match pairings and kick-off times wwiwll be decided in late 2025 at the FIFA World Cup 26™ Final Draw.
Here’s a list of all the games that will be in Toronto:
- June 12, 2026, Group Stage, Canadian Men’s National Team opener
- June 17, 2026, Group Stage
- June 20, 2026, Group Stage
- June 23, 2026, Group Stage
- June 26, 2026, Group Stage
- July 2, 2026, Round of 32
It’s just under two years until some of the world’s best soccer players will be in Toronto. Tickets aren’t on sale yet but fans can pre-register for ticket information. This will definitely be a big summer for Toronto and we can’t wait to join in on the fun!
