1. Distillery Winter Village
The Distillery District will be filled with thousands of lights, festive displays, live music, a candy cane forest, vendor cabins, holiday photo ops, the famous Christmas tree and is a great date spot in the city. The Distillery Winter Village offers free admission during certain days of the week and times. From December 18th to 23rd, you can enter for free before 4 pm. 2. Go Ice Skating

3. Winter Festival of Lights at Niagara Falls

4. Thirsty Elf Bar

6. TD Union Winter Roller Express Rink
Go on a fun and free roller skating date at Union Station. Roller skate indoors inside the newly opened TD West Carriageway. Enjoy 5,500 sq ft of skating surface that’s animated with lights for a fun retro experience. There will be free skate lessons, Union Beats DJ skate nights on Fridays, exclusive Beats & Boogie 19+ skate nights, immersive activities, activations, and more. Bring your skates or rent a pair for free on a first-come, first-served basis.

15. Winter Glow
Winter Glow is happening now until December 23rd and is a fun holiday date idea in the heart of downtown Toronto. The event features popular carnival rides, like the Astro Amusements’ brightly lit 45-foot-tall Ferris Wheel, a 40ft tall Tree of Remembrance, and yummy carnival treats. Important to note that rides do require a paid ticket.

16. Go on a Winter Walk
Go on a peaceful walk on Christmas Day. Toronto has many free trails for the public to enjoy. We recommend the Glen Stewart Ravine, Rouge National Urban Park, High Park or Tommy Thompson Park.
