A new and exciting street festival is coming to Toronto this weekend and it’s completely free for everyone to enjoy! This Saturday, July 20th, join The Midtown Yonge Business Improvement Area’s (MYBIA) first-ever and highly anticipated street festival “MYBIA Summer Fest 2024.” In partnership with the City of Toronto, this event celebrates summer with delicious food, music, shopping, and fun that’s perfect for all ages.
Only here for 1 day, Yonge Street will be transformed into a vibrant celebration of community, culture and everything summer. This year's Summer Fest will be jam-packed with an exciting lineup of performances and activities. Enjoy an electrifying lineup of entertainment, with a mix of local artists and performers who will be gracing the main stage on Lola Road. The lineup will include Chris Oday, Gabriela Carnovale, Rachelle Show, Dance ConneXion, the Virgo Queen, Batucada Carioca and DJ Vince. Enjoy genres like pop, Latin fusion, hip-hop, samba, and more.
Plus, there will be a vendor market that will highlight the distinctive flavours and talents of our neighbourhood and city. Featuring a diverse array of food vendors, artisans, retailers, and local organizations, this event offers a unique chance to discover one-of-a-kind items and indulge in some delicious food, while supporting the local community.
Make sure to take your little ones to the dedicated Kids’ Tent that will feature fun activities like free face painting & balloon twisting. Don’t forget to stop by the Cotton Candy Tent, where you can enjoy a free cotton candy treat, spun fresh just for you. Plus, visit the MYBIA tent to discover the incredible work they do in the community and enjoy giveaways, share your feedback, and learn how you can get involved.
