8. Thread that Tangles but doesn’t Knot Kite Flying Event
Join Egyptian-Canadian artist Yasmeen Nematt Alla for "Thread that Tangles but Doesn’t Knot," a one-time kite flying event in Toronto on the Festival's final weekend. Participants can also attend optional workshops to design their own kites. The event invites reflection on hope, failure, and resilience, guided by the question: "What does it mean to be a kite that never takes flight?" Yasmeen is an artist and advocate, supporting accessible and anti-racist practices in the arts.
