1. Hangar Skate
Hangar Skate weekends are back this week! Starting from January 19th to March 17th, there will be free open skating on Saturdays and Sundays with free skating lessons and even an immersive light show on the ice in front of airplane Hangars. Skates are available for rental again this year at $5 for adults and free for children under 12 years old. Plus, DJ Skate Nights will be happening on select Fridays.

2. The Toronto International Boat Show
The Toronto International Boat Show is back for its 66th year and is North America's largest indoor boat show. With over 450 exhibitors, 1,000 boats, mariners market, the largest indoor lake and more, you're in for a great time.

3. DesignTo Festival
Be immersed in the breathtaking art at DesignTO. The festival takes place in-person and online across several different venues in Toronto. Most events and exhibitions are free, but some require an RSVP or purchased tickets.

7. Shoe Customization 101
Head over to the Bata Shoe Museum and get to paint your own custom shoe design. Release your creativity and express your artist with Jasmin Pannu, as she helps to guide your artwork. Art materials will be included, but you must provide your own new or used shoes to customize. Clean white sneakers are recommended for best results.

8. Winter Exhibitions Opening Party

3). DesignTO Launch Party 2024
Initiate the 14th DesignTO Festival by attending their official Launch Party! Guests are invited to mingle and connect at this event, fostering a sense of community among Toronto's creative minds. As a fundraiser for the non-profit Festival, all proceeds contribute to the overarching goal of bringing people together to collectively design a better future.
