1. Cabbagetown Festival
The 45th annual Cabbagetown Festival returns this weekend! One of Toronto’s longest-running and most beloved street festivals, this massive 2-day event will feature over 250 unique and diverse vendors - including live music performances, fantastic food, local shops, handmade goods, a Kid’s Zone, street games and more - and will wrap with a huge music-filled closing parade that everyone can join. This event is also pet-friendly too!

2. UHN's Centre for Living Organ Donation's Photo Gallery Exhibit
Check out the University Health Network (UHN)'s Centre for Living Organ Donation’s captivating photo exhibit starting this weekend. This exhibit captures the beauty of scar’s through a unique lens. Highlighting the post-surgery appearances of patients and living donors it tells the beautiful stories of generosity, life and success following a living donation. This is an immersive experience that raises awareness about the importance of living organ donations and how to become a donor. This exhibit is only here for a week, so make sure to stop by!

3. Open Canvas Music & Arts Festival

2. Walk to Conquer Cancer
It's all to help find cures for cancer at The Princess Margaret. Walkers must raise $1,500 to participate and be at least 16 years of age to join.

3. Free drop-in adult kickball
Toronto Kickball offers a free league for adults, playing nearly every Sunday afternoon at Alexandra Park, near Dundas and Bathurst. Beginners are encouraged to join, and no prior experience is required.

4. Yoga in Trillium Park at Ontario Place
Yoga in Trillium Park is back at Ontario Place with free yoga classes on select Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. until September 29. Each class is taught by an instructor for approximately 60 minutes and offers a mix of hatha and vinyasa yoga.

5. 6th Annual Mental Health Pop-Up Market
Hard Feelings is a nonprofit registered charity dedicated to reducing barriers and increasing access to mental health resources. This annual event will be an excellent opportunity to engage with community members and local vendors dedicated to mental health advocacy and awareness.

8. Canadian premiere KINTSUKUROI
This powerful film tells the story of the Ito family, tracing their journey from an idyllic life in San Francisco’s Japantown to the concentration camps in the American West and the battlefields of Europe. We’re hosting a special fundraiser screening on September 7th at 4:30 pm at the Westdale, with all proceeds going to support the Hamilton branch of the National Association of Japanese Canadians. Their mission is to strive for equal rights and liberties for all people – in particular those of racial and ethnic minorities.
