2. Visit Toronto Parks
High park provides plenty of space to have a picnic and enjoy the sun. With beautiful views of gardens and forests, enjoy a peaceful day in nature. If you don't feel like sitting, there are also restaurants, tennis courts and playgrounds around. It's also a popular place for hiking and biking in the summertime. Toronto Music Garden is a beautiful landscape on the edge of Toronto's waterfront. Located at 475 Queens Quay West on the waterfront between Bathurst St and Spadina Ave. The Music Garden attracts a broad range of performers and is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor music with a view.
3. Day trip to Toronto Islands
Plan a day trip to visit the Toronto Islands. A series of beautiful, miniature islands in Lake Ontario. These peaceful, car-free islands are easily accessible by a short ferry ride from downtown Toronto, making for a lovely and inexpensive day trip. Ferry rides leave every 15-30 minutes and cost between $4-$8.50, children under 2 ride free. There is no charge to enter island. There is a small amusement park, restaurant and other attractions which require purchase, but you can keep the cost low by bringing your own picnic lunch and drinks.
4. Visit the Distillery District
Distillery District is known as Canada's premier arts, culture and entertainment destination. There is so much to do including dining at restaurants or cafes, shopping and events. Discover the city's best boutiques. Whether you are looking for apparel, home decor or jewellery, Distillery District has a variety of local shops. If you're hungry, they have pubs, pizza shops, an oyster house and many dessert and coffee shops to choose from.

5. Kensington Market
Take a walk through Toronto's most unique neighbourhood. Kensington Market celebrates diversity through their various store offerings. From vintage clothing stores, grocers, restaurants and cafes. Even if you're not looking to buy anything, simply strolling the streets and taking in all the good vibes makes for a great day trip. Kensington Market is home of some of the best vintage stores such as Lost Boys Vintage, Vintage Outlaw and Victory Girl Vintage. They also have some of the best eats, including taco spots, jerk and patties.
6. Shopping on Queen Street
Even if you don't want to purchase anything, Queen Street is perfect for taking a stroll and doing some window shopping. There are a lot of interesting shops and cutting-edge fashion, often compared to New York City's Soho. Browse the art galleries, antique shops and bookstores. There are also many coffee shops and restaurants along Queen Street if you feel like taking a break from all the walking.
7. Take pictures at Graffiti Alley
Visit the amazing murals at Graffiti Alley located at Rush Lane, just south of Queen Street. These murals are vibrant and colourful, perfect for taking solo pictures or with your friends.
8. Comedy shows
Get a good laugh at Chuckle Co. Admission is $5 on Wednesdays at 9:30pm. Located at The Comedy Bar 945 Bloor St W.

9. Catch a show at Mirvish Theatre

10. Enjoy a meal at Frankie's Diner
