1. Toronto Waterfront Festival
Head over to Sugar Beach for the Toronto Waterfront Festival and celebrate the last weekend of summer. For 2-days, enjoy cultural activities, food, live music, pop-up entertainment, watch the Canine Watersports Competition, meet the Army and Navy, and more.

The Toronto International Festival of Authors (TIFA) will be taking place at the Harbourfront Centre. This year's lineup of conversations, readings, masterclasses, performances, and exhibits at TIFA explores the theme of "writing home," focusing on books and stories about home, as well as the ideas, cultures, and conflicts that shape its meaning.

4. The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery Exhibits
The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery is delighted to announce its upcoming exhibition season with two solo presentations of works by Swedish visual artist Lap-See Lam and Canadian multidisciplinary artist Charles Campbell. Through immersive installations, both artists reflect on concepts relating to memory, movement, and the ocean. The exhibitions run from September 21st, 2024, to March 2nd, 2025. Admission is free.

5. The Bentway Dominoes
Dominoes is a day-long event where audiences can watch the creation of a 2.5km domino route across the city and witness the dramatic “fall” of the giant dominoes. This larger-than-life moving sculpture spans multiple downtown neighborhoods, bringing communities together for a day-long event to set up and topple over giant dominoes.

6. Roller Skating Party
